Summary

Weekly Status — At a Glance

CWP-700 is in Phase 2 (Production Ramp & Steady-State) and currently Yellow on quality due to the NDT queue backlog (I-02) that formed during early ramp — inspection capacity had been sized for FAI-level throughput rather than full two-shift production rate. The fix (a second, then a fully corrected two-Level-II-technician NDT staffing model per RAIDD Decision D-05) is now in place; this week's focus was validating the backlog has actually cleared rather than just declaring it fixed. No change to the overall program schedule is being proposed.

Accomplished This Week

  • MRB-003 (oversized fastener hole) dispositioned — rework authorized with engineering-approved oversized fastener, closed.Owner: J. Ferraro
  • MRB-004 (ply misalignment) dispositioned — scrap, with root cause traced to layup fixture wear.Owner: J. Ferraro
  • Second NDT technician (Shift 2) fully qualified and ramped — cycle time returned to plan within 2 weeks of onboarding.Owner: L. Vance
  • Quarterly PPAP review (Q2) completed for key raw-material suppliers — no findings.Owner: S. Pham

Planned Next Week

  • Validate NDT cycle time fully recovered across both shifts, not just Shift 2 where the fix landed.Owner: L. Vance
  • Finalize preventive-maintenance schedule for the layup fixture identified as MRB-004's root cause.Owner: M. Osei
  • Begin dual-source prepreg qualification per D-03, addressing R-01's single-source exposure.Owner: S. Pham
  • Monthly Joint Program Review with Meridian to confirm delivery performance against schedule.Owner: C. Tyrrell
